The title character is a tall, leather-clad secret agent from the nation of Monica, skilled in assassination and acrobatics. Beavis and Butthead got their start on Liquid Television, and I think I’d be pretty surreal to see the two of them on TV again, animated or otherwise. I’m happy to see that MTV is going back to its roots with Aeon Flux in a way, and I hope this opens up the door for a return of other Liquid Television segments. Speaking of live-action, it turns out that Aeon Flux is going to be revived for a live-action TV series! Attached to the show are Jeff Davis, the current showrunner of Teen Wolf, and Gale Anne Hurd, who works on The Walking Dead and was one of the producers of the 2005 movie.
